Minnesota native Sofia loves middle eastern arts, foods and culture. Early on, she learned belly dancing and her parents would drive her to and from her job as a belly dancer in a Mediterranean restaurant. Her instructors were all famous Egyptian belly dancers. She creates and sews her own stage costumes, some of them heavy beaded belly dancing costumes that can take years to make.
